Beginner l Strength and Fitness l 12-weeks
It’s absolutely clear that there are necessary skills to get the most from strength training. The first three months of training are unique in any lifting journey. Our bodies spend the first 6-weeks learning how to move properly, and the next 6-weeks are when we see the first muscular change. This time is important to use strategically, and capitalise on. That is the purpose of our Introduciton to Resistance Training programming. This stream provides the foundational skills and experience to launch your resistance exercise journey. Whether your ultimate goal is muscle mass, strength, health, or a combination of these, it all starts with a few key foundations. We care about making sure you can exercise safely and effectively for the long-run. This program should feel repetitive, but this is key for true progress, sustainability and skill acquisition.
Equipment:
Access to barbells, dumbbells, and a few machines is recommended
What's Next:
When you complete this program, you will be ready for all of our other programming streams, so you can really hone your goals and skills.
If you're not completely confident yet, you can also repeat this as many times as you like! We update the programs regularly to keep you working towards your goals and make sure you're comfortable using a variety of equipment and techniques in the gym!
